TheLinkMarine Receives Chainlink Grant to Enhance Chainlink Ecosystem Website

The Chainlink Community Grant Program provides financial resources to the many development teams and researchers building a more functional and accessible Chainlink Network. We encourage talented individual developers and development teams to apply to the grant program here, or if you are a researcher and want to collaborate, contact us.

2021 has been a year of rapid growth for the Chainlink ecosystem, with accelerating adoption across Chainlink’s suite of decentralized services, which extend the capabilities of hybrid smart contracts and aim to support the creation of a fairer world based on cryptographic truth. 1,000+ projects are now part of the Chainlink ecosystem, with the Chainlink Network helping to secure $75B+ in smart contract value across the multi-chain ecosystem.

To ensure the Chainlink community and the wider smart contract economy are able to follow the ecosystem’s exponential growth, we are excited to announce that TheLinkMarine has been awarded a grant to support the significant enhancement of chainlinkecosystem.com—an independent resource for the latest in integrations and collaborations across the Chainlink ecosystem. As a leading contributor to this popular community resource and the news website Chainlink Today, TheLinkMarine is the ideal candidate to receive this grant for improving upon the initial design and feature set of the ecosystem site.

chainlinkecosystem.com has been a resounding success as a tool for enabling community members to monitor the accelerating growth of the Chainlink Network. The upgraded website will include significant improvements to design, user experience, and content, making it an easy-to-use one-stop directory for the latest information on Chainlink integrations.

As a part of the grant, TheLinkMarine will rebuild the entire website in Webflow and create a database of 1,000+ integrations with deeper levels of filtering across additional category types, including project name, logo, category, description, underlying blockchain(s), and Chainlink services used.

As more and more projects realize the benefits of integrating multiple Chainlink services for advanced functionality, counting each product integration as a separate integration on the site has become a necessity. The enhanced website will allow maintainers to add multiple Chainlink integrations to the same project without having to have duplicate listings. In the future, projects will also be able to update their own Chainlink integration information directly through the website.

These enhancements will provide a greatly improved experience for users alongside a more comprehensive representation of the state of all Chainlink integrations—giving users a clearer picture of the accelerating adoption of Chainlink’s suite of decentralized services. The goal of this community tool is not only to inform existing participants in the Web3 economy of the progress of the Chainlink ecosystem but also to provide an extensive educational resource to new entrants to the space, enabling them to easily find useful information about specific use cases and industry verticals. This will help to foster the creation of the next generation of trust-minimized applications leveraging the benefits of cryptographic truth.

“The existing Chainlink Ecosystem website has been a resounding success and watching it grow alongside the Chainlink Network and its integrations has been hugely exciting for me,” stated TheLinkMarine. “However, with the rapid rate of the Chainlink Network’s growth and the expansion of Chainlink services, I now feel the time is right to enhance the website substantially and improve its usefulness to the smart contract community.”

Through the Chainlink Community Grants program, we look forward to continuing to empower more and more Chainlink ecosystem teams and researchers who are both researching and building key tools and infrastructure that accelerate the development of hybrid smart contracts and secure oracle networks. We will continue supporting the community as a key driver of Chainlink’s rapid growth, because only together can we make hybrid smart contracts into the dominant form of digital agreement.
