The Chainlink Community Grant Program provides financial resources to the many development teams and researchers building a more functional and accessible Chainlink Network. As the Chainlink ecosystem grows, additional developer-focused educational resources and debugging tools will increase in importance as new Chainlink node operators join the ecosystem and begin delivering data on-chain and performing critical off-chain computations. To cultivate the continual decentralization and diversity of data and computations provided by the Chainlink Network, the Grants Program is actively providing funding to ecosystem teams who create refined documentation and analytic tools to ensure the infrastructure of Chainlink node operators stays highly reliable and secure. 

In pursuit of this goal, we are excited to announce that LinkRiver, a community-driven Chainlink node service provider, has been awarded a Chainlink Community Grant for the creation of a new website, nodelogs.link, which will provide and actively maintain a list of all the important Chainlink node logs including concise explanations of their meanings, origins, and debugging solutions. Additionally, this website will provide well-structured documentation about the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of highly available, secure, and scalable Chainlink node infrastructure. By lowering the barrier to entry for Chainlink node operators, the decentralization and security of the Chainlink Network can increase as a whole.

LinkRiver is a Chainlink node service provider who has played an invaluable role in the Chainlink developer community by providing support in the official Chainlink Discord channel and actively supporting various projects during hackathons and beyond. By continually helping developers and aspiring node operators, LinkRiver has demonstrated over a long period of time their knowledge and ability to be helpful with a wide range of different Chainlink node related questions. As the Chainlink grants program aims to support our best, most active, and supportive community members, we feel that LinkRiver is the perfect group to create a website to further support the Chainlink developer and node operator community. 

LinkRiver’s new website nodelogs.link will expand upon its existing in-depth research on cybersecurity best practices, maintaining high availability, and eliminating single points of failure for Chainlink oracle node infrastructure, offering additional documentation and explanations for the various types of warning and error logs that a Chainlink node could generate during deployment and potential edge cases. The website will provide an easily searchable database that catalogs these different types of node logs, creating a valuable community resource that will support the decentralization and security of the Chainlink Network.
