Announcing the Chainlink Chromion Hackathon Winners
The Chainlink Chromion Hackathon has officially wrapped up, once again showcasing the strength and momentum of the global Chainlink developer community.
Over 3,000 participants from around the world submitted 413 total projects, with the largest number of contributors coming from India, the United States, and China. Notably, 33% of participants were brand new to blockchain development, highlighting the rapid expansion of global onchain builder talent.
Throughout the multi-week event, developers leveraged Chainlink’s platform to create next-generation applications across DeFi, real-world asset tokenization, cross-chain infrastructure, AI-powered automation, and more.
Below are the prize-winning projects that stood out across each category.
Hackathon Winners
Prizes were awarded to standout projects across the following tracks:
- Grand Prize
- Onchain Finance
- Cross-chain Solutions
In addition to cash prizes, the Grand Prize winner received SmartCon tickets, covered travel, and the opportunity to present their project live on stage.
All winning projects will also be considered for Chainlink Build, giving teams the chance to access long-term ecosystem support and growth opportunities.
Chainlink Grand Prize ($35,000)
The project that stood out across all categories.
YieldCoin
YieldCoin is a fully onchain stablecoin yield optimizer that dynamically reallocates capital across chains and protocols to maximize yield. When users deposit stablecoins, they receive YieldCoin tokens representing their ownership share. Chainlink CCIP, Automation, and Functions are used to monitor available APYs and trigger rebalancing transactions, all executed onchain for full transparency and auditability.
Onchain Finance ($50,000)
Best DeFi Projects ($25,000)
For projects bringing new ideas to DeFi, stablecoins, and onchain finance, whether by extending existing protocols or building entirely new ones.
1st Place – TokenIQ ($16,500 + $10,000 in AWS credits)
TokenIQ is a treasury management platform that acts as an autonomous CFO for DAOs. It uses AI and Chainlink services to suggest and execute yield strategies across a variety of token types and chains. By combining CCIP, Automation, and Data Feeds with a clean user interface, TokenIQ allows DAOs to scale treasury operations without sacrificing governance control.
2nd Place – Copil ($8,500 +$5,000 in AWS credits)
Copil is a DeFi collateral and strategy optimizer that integrates a ChatGPT-powered builder for designing custom yield strategies. Chainlink Automation and Data Feeds provide the infrastructure to simulate and execute strategies across protocols. The platform blends manual and AI-assisted workflows within a cohesive onchain experience.
Best Tokenization/RWA Projects ($25,000)
For projects that focus on the tokenization of RWAs, bringing them onchain to enable a better way to do finance.
1st Place – Yieldx ($16,500 + $10,000 in AWS credits)
Yieldx brings the trade finance market onchain by tokenizing invoices and enabling yield-bearing investment in real-world receivables. Chainlink Functions and Data Feeds provide the critical data infrastructure for verifying invoices and updating onchain asset valuations, creating a bridge between traditional finance and decentralized capital.
2nd Place – Spout Finance ($8,500 + $5,000 in AWS credits)
Spout Finance is a confidential RWA collateral platform that brings tokenized U.S. bond ETFs onchain. It uses Chainlink Functions, Automation, and Proof of Reserve, along with homomorphic encryption to protect transaction-level privacy. ERC-3643 and ERC-725 standards are used to enforce compliance requirements, enabling adoption by institutions and regulated entities.
Cross-Chain Solutions ($15,000)
Best Cross-Chain Projects
For projects that advance the multi-chain world and use CCIP and/or the CCT standard to enable seamless interoperability.
1st Place – HTTPayer ($10,000 + $10,000 in AWS credits)
HTTPayer is a crypto payment server designed for x402-style offchain-to-onchain transactions. By integrating Chainlink CCIP and Functions, it allows service providers to automate stablecoin payments for things like SaaS and API subscriptions. HTTPayer abstracts away crypto complexity while enabling native onchain settlement.
2nd Place – Blink-210e ($5,000 +$5,000 in AWS credits)
Blink-210e is a multi-chain payments app that enables users to pay merchants in any token on any chain. Chainlink CCIP and Data Feeds handle real-time token conversion, ensuring that merchants receive stablecoins or fiat via Circle’s offramp. The app also supports checkout via QR codes and includes mock support for Solana while awaiting full integration.
Sponsor Prize Winners
In addition to the main prize tracks, several standout teams were selected by our sponsors for their exceptional use of partner technologies and platforms.
ElizaOS Prize Winners ($49,500)
This track rewarded the best agent-based applications built using ElizaOS, spanning DeFi and Web3 agents, productivity and operations, and multi-agent coordination.

The Chromion Hackathon Has Officially Concluded
Thank you to all the builders, mentors, judges, and sponsors who made this hackathon possible. Chromion brought together a truly global community of developers and marked another major step forward in showcasing what is possible when powerful infrastructure is put in the hands of creative minds.
Over the course of several weeks, teams built applications that stretched the boundaries of what onchain systems can do. Projects included automated yield optimizers, AI-powered treasury agents, real-world asset platforms, and seamless cross-chain payment infrastructure.
This hackathon highlighted how Chainlink is becoming the critical platform for the most promising Web3 use cases. Developers used Chainlink CCIP as the universal messaging and value transfer layer that connects stablecoins and assets across chains. They used Chainlink Automation and Data Feeds to power secure and verifiable DeFi strategies. Chainlink Functions served as the bridge between offchain data and onchain tokenized systems. Several projects also explored how Chainlink can be combined with AI to enable verifiable onchain decision-making for financial applications.
Together, these projects show how Chainlink provides all the services and tools needed to support the full lifecycle of onchain finance. We look forward to seeing what you will build at the next Chainlink hackathon.
